The Hope High School English as Second Language Cohort is nearing completion of the endorsement training for its 13 members. The group completed its final weekend training session earlier this month and will test for ESL endorsement later this spring after completion of four graduate level courses required in the program, according to HHS Principal Tommie Campbell. The ESL Academy is funded through a grant from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. Campbell said each graduate will earn 12 hours of graduate level course credit for completion of the academy program. Cohort members include Romunda Hamilton, Joyce Thrasher, Micehlle Loyd, Martha Wake, Kathy Knight, Campbell, Lena VanCamp, Will Cheser, Brittany Chesher, Barbara Holmes; and, Christie Tucker, Alice Wesley and Bridgett Glover, who are not pictured
