The Hope High School Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps detachment presented the honors for the annual Lafayette County Leadership Council Buffalo Soldier Recognition Banquet in Lewisville this year. Cadet color guard members Ismael Ward, Gianni Trotter, John Willsey and Tyneshia White posted the colors prior to Cadet Gladajah Haynes’ singing of the National Anthem. Cadets also performed the Fallen Soldier Tribute, and the cadet detachment met Arkansas Lieutenant Governor Tim Griffin, and son, John. Detachment members included Jazmine Watts, Zachary Johnson, Trotter, Ward, White, Willsey, Haynes, Beyonce Nelson and Mashayla Cheatham.
