Gifted and Talented Program students from Beryl Henry Elementary School participated in the Southwest Arkansas Educational Cooperative Projects Fair on Wednesday. BHE participants included Mika Brown, Kattie Flenory, Allen Thomason, Montavius Eason, and Bradley Keller. Students from GT programs in five school districts across Southwest Arkansas presented both science and social studies projects created in class. The students explained and answered questions concerning their projects during the event as part of the curriculum standards for the GT program. The non-competition event was the first of its kind for SWAEC, according to Dana Ray, SWAEC GT specialist. (See more photos on Facebook) – Ken McLemore/Hope Public Schools
