HOPE – Hope High School students will exhibit art works during a student showing Thursday evening.

HHS art teacher Kendrick Adams said work by students will be on display from 5-7 p.m. Thursday in the HHS Parent Center on the first floor of the high school building on South Main Street.

“Many items will be for sale,” Adams added.

HHS English teacher Janet Banister, parental involvement coordinator, will provide refreshments during the evening showing, he said.

Adams’ students recently completed atmospherics set pieces for the HHS student video production “The Rose,” which is scheduled for release via Bobcat Studios YouTube channel and the HHS website.

The video play was written, acted and edited in conjunction with artists in residence Repha Buckman, Chelsye Ginn, and Mike Merritt, who were sponsored through the Southwest Arkansas Arts Council and the Arkansas Arts Council of the Arkansas Department of Heritage, in conjunction with the National Education Association.
