Veterans honored at CPS

The student body of Clinton Primary School presented two programs Tuesday recognizing local military veterans for their service. After a flag-raising ceremony in front of the school and the singing of the National Anthem by third and fourth grade students, the assembly moved to the cafeteria where first and second grades sang patriotic songs, and the Roll of Honor of attending veterans was read. Veterans’ Day will be celebrated nationally on Saturday. (See more pictures on Facebook.) – Ken McLemore/Hope Public Schools\r\n
