National FBLA Qualifier

Hope High School senior Jesus Hernandez placed fourth in District IV Future Business Leaders of American personal finance competition at Little Rock recently, earning himself a spot in the FBLA National Leadership Conference to be conducted in Baltimore, Maryland, in June. Hernandez is currently raising funds to pay for air fare, accommodations and other expenses during the five-day conference, since only limited funding is available, according to FBLA sponsor Matha Wake. Business patrons who may wish to participate should contact Wake at Hope High School. Hernandez intends to begin studies in finance at the University of Arkansas-Hope in the fall. – Ken McLemore/Hope Public Schools\r\n
