Culture fair at BHE

Beryl Henry Elementary School students and parents toured the world Tuesday night at the annual BHE Gifted and Talented Culture Fair. Under the direction of GT teacher Kenneth Stewart, students not only completed presentation projects about various countries and cultures, they also performed in a program of songs and readings. And, students also competed in a Culture Fair Cook-Off with domestic and foreign dishes. Eddrick Lard won the $50 first prize for his Kool-Aid Pineapple Pickles; Michael Crossno won the $30 second prize for his Aranichi Balls; and Jazmine Griffith won $20 for her Chocolate Culture Cake. – Ken McLemore/Hope Public Schools\r\n
