HHS Student Council organizes

HOPE – Students government leaders at Hope High School elected and appointed for the 2018-2019 academic year organized in an end-of-year introductory session Friday.

\r\n

Stuco adviser Courtney Howard outlined the summer planning schedule for the new student officers, and explained how the student government will function in the fall. Summer clean-up of the student government room and organization of resources is set for July 31; and, summer workshop to plan for the start of school, teacher-mentor assignments, homecoming planning, freshman orientation and open house responsibilities is set for Aug. 1.\r\n

New student government executive council members include President Lydia Smith, Vice President Daisy Aguilar, Treasurer Chris Haywood, Secretary Jordyne Weston, and Associate Secretary Lizzy Arroyo.\r\n

\r\n

Class co-presidents for 2018-2019 include: Seniors – Zoie Hollis and Jessica Moreno; Juniors – Kobe Watson and Sarah Pool; Sophomores – Jazmin Martinez and Joshua Johnson.\r\n

\r\n

Class representatives for 2018-2019 include: \r\n

\r\n

Seniors – Allysa Fincher, Kanasia Alexander, Natalie Phillips, Eboni McClenton, Jaidyn Simington, Makayla Williams, Zharia Woods, and Jaleia Davis.\r\n

\r\n

Juniors – De’Travonta Horton, Audrianna Collins, Alaya Pearson, Britney Alvarado, and Alaysia Lewis.\r\n

\r\n

Sophomores – Davionna Perkins, Ke’Ara Key, Verenice Leyva, Briana Rodriguez, Ryan Walker, Jamia Dixon, and Jahira Sampson.\r\n

\r\n

Freshman class co-presidents and class representatives will be elected in the fall.\r\n

\r\n

Appointed members include: Chaplain Jalia Sampson, Historian Joanna Arechiga, Parliamentarian Nitzy Juanes, and Sergeant at Arms Erounnia Hearon.\r\n
