\r\nCustomers of the local Fred’s outlet have teamed with the store to support the Hope High School Bobcats athletics program with a donation of sports drinks accepted by HHS Head Football Coach Phillip Turner and HHS Coach Billy Rook. Fred’s store manager Martha Reese said customers and store employees donated nine cases of a variety of sports drinks for HHS athletes. Reese said the donation is the first in what she anticipates will be an on-going community collaboration through special offerings for customers each week that will benefit a local organization or project. – Ken McLemore/Hope Public Schools\r\n
