Hope Public Schools Superintendent Bobby Hart has implemented a personal merit award which he gives for effort that goes beyond the norm. The Superintendent's Coin is a specially minted commemorative-style silver coin which is identified on the obverse side and struck with the district's signature H-Bobcats logo, as well. Hart awarded the coin to Hope Academy of Public Service students Grace Easterling, Kennedy Phillips, and Aubrey Hart for their organizational work to host the HAPS Patriot Day observance on Sept. 11.
