Students from the Hope High School Future Farmers of America chapter exhibited entries in multiple classes of the recent Southwest Arkansas Livestock Show at Hope Fair Park. FFA Sponsor Christina Smith said Peyton Parker placed second with a commercial heifer; Maurina McClenton placed 19th with a market hog entry; Jaci Johnson placed first with her silver rabbit; Mayra Garcia placed second with a mini rex rabbit; Sydney Parish placed fifth with a market goat; and, De’Travonta Horton placed sixth with a market goat. Graduate member Shelbie Godwin placed first with a dwarf hoto rabbit and a mini Holland Lop rabbit as well as fifth place in the market goat show in her final FFA showing. – Ken McLemore/Hope Public Schools\r\n
