HHS Band Seniors recognized

HOPE – The Hope High School Bobcat Marching Band honored its senior musicians during Senior Night activities here Oct. 26 at Hammons Stadium.\r\n

Six senior musicians were recognized from among the current marching contingent of 70 band members. The senior bandsmen performed in the band’s “Phoenix Rising: A Band Reborn” 2018 season show at halftime for the final time Friday. The show received an “excellent” rating from judges at the recent Region II Arkansas State Band and Orchestra Association Marching Assessment.\r\n

Senior Bobcat band musicians and their escorts recognized before the final home football game of the season on Oct. 26 included Mayra Yuliana Garcia, four years (tennis, 3), escorted by mother, Mayra Garcia, and father, Miguel Garcia; Yajahira Dominguez, four years, escorted by father, Luciano Dominguez, and mother, Josefina Dominguez; Melissa Frigga, one year, escorted by mother, Ernestine Pardo; Nyesha McMillion, two years, escorted by mother, Laneshia Williams, and HHS Bands Director Julie Gladden; Erounnia Hearon, four years, escorted by mother, Cilver West, and grandfather, David West; and Elijah Colemon, seven years, escorted by HHS Bands Director Julie Gladden and parents, Natasha and Cameron Martin.\r\n
