Beryl Henry Elementary School students in Stephanie Smelley’s sixth grade social studies classes created Egyptian tomb art as part of an Arts in Education project overseen by Artist in Residence Mary Sanders-Overton. The completed sarcophagus artworks were judged by Southwest Arkansas Arts Council members John Hollis and Mike Malek, and winners were named Friday.
