Hope High School Ladycat Softball short stop Natalie Phillips signed a scholarship “letter of intent” Nov. 15 to play softball for the Southern Arkansas University Lady Muleriders. Phillips will become a utility outfielder for the Magnolia school after her graduation from HHS in May, 2019. She intends to study accounting at SAU. Phillips, joined by her mother, Holly, father, Scott, brother, Nathan, and HHS Ladycat Coach Mike Godwin made the acceptance official in ceremonies in the HHS library prior to a reception in her honor. – Ken McLemore/Hope Public Schools\r\n
