CPS students learn strings

Clinton Primary School music students of Jonathan Bradford have been learning the fundamentals of stringed instruments such as the cello and violin. Students begin by learning how to “bow” the instrument in order to produce a sound. The hands-on experience allows the students to see how each part of the instrument functions in order to produce the desired musical effects. In getting a general feel for the instrument, the students also learn how various materials such as wood and horsehair for bows are used in constructing instruments. – Hope Public Schools\r\n
