Beryl Henry Elementary School students Abigail Contreras, Ezekial; Contreras, Jeremiah Ford, Savannah Glenn, and Deontray Lenzy were somewhat apprehensive when BHE Principal Dr. Roy Turner called them out of class Friday and directed that they meet him in the school cafeteria. The five students were stunned to learn that they had been selected by the local chapter of the Order of Eastern Star to receive a bicycle for Christmas. OES Worthy Matron Lashika Porter explained that the donation is part of the chapter’s community service program for this year.
