HHS senior is scholarship candidate

Hope High School senior student Christopher Haywood is congratulated by HHS Counselor Sallie Nix upon being notified of his inclusion in the scholarship pool for the National Merit Scholarship Corporate Scholarship Competition. Haywood was selected to advance in the competition based upon his qualifying scores from the Pre-SAT in 2017. The corporate scholarship competition administered by the National Merit Scholarship Corp. benefits students who have a family member employed by a sponsoring corporate partner.
