HPSD seeks working group partners

HOPE – The Hope Public School District will undertake an initiative here June 13 to address mental health issues in school age children with the formation of a stakeholder working group.\r\n

HPSD Superintendent Bobby Hart announced the initiative in a letter which has been sent to a number of community organizations.\r\n

\r\n

“In an attempt to help all students be successful, Hope Public Schools is starting a working group that will take on this problem and will attempt to offer solutions and action plans devoted to assisting young people,” Hart said.\r\n

\r\n

The first session of the working group is set for 8:30 a.m., June 13, at Hempstead Hall.\r\n

\r\n

“Our initial meeting will consist of conversations that establish a mission and vision for our group as well as laying the groundwork for the future work,” Hart wrote.\r\n
