The two 7th grade advisory groups recently participated in a taste test in which they were able to try freshly picked okra prepared In a healthy way. The University of Arkansas Agriculture Extension Office led them in a lesson on making healthy choices and the importance of proper nutrition.
Some of the 7th grade student have also been working very hard in the garden harvesting summer crops and preparing it for the fall and winter.
