There has been a lot of Quiz Bowl activity lately! GT Coordinator Kenneth Stewart shares the latest happenings:
On Tuesday January 23rd, 2024, the 7th grade quiz bowl team won 2nd place in the Murfreesboro quiz bowl tournament. Students on the quiz bowl team are Zack Ross, Aniyah Lloyd, Jayden Martinez, Zadrian Scott, Sidnee Wade, Kaden Smith, Zander Coronada, Rey Mendoza, and (absent) David Artis. The students are members of Yerger and HAPS schools. Kenneth Stewart GT Coordinator is the coach.
On Tuesday January 23rd 2024, the 8th and 9th grade junior high Quiz Bowl team won 1st place in the SWAEC Quiz bowl tournament. Students on the quiz bowl team are Jose Alvarez, Riley Bramlet, Ramsey Beck, Davis Johnson, Juan Arroya, Drake Mathis, Madison Qualls, absent (Autumn Flenory) the students are members of Yerger, HAPS and Hope High. Kenneth Stewart GT coordinator is the coach. Assistant coach Alvis Conway.
On Monday January 29th 2024, the 7th grade Quiz Bowl team won first place in the SWAEC 7th grade Quiz bowl tournament.
