Hope Academy of Public Service students had Breakfast with Santa and lent the jolly old boy a hand as children arrived to offer their Christmas wishes during the annual event in downtown Hope. HAPS Principal Dr. Carol Ann Duke said HAPS students did elf duty by decorating gingerbread men, helping children write letters to Santa, which the students delivered to save postage, and providing reindeer food for children to leave on their lawns Christmas Eve.  HAPS fifth grade students also went caroling at Hope Haven Retirement Center. – Ken McLemore/Hope Public Schools\r\n
