HOPE – Some spring semester events in the Hope Public Schools district have been affected by the closure of public school campuses in Arkansas until April 17 in response to the COVID-19 illness.
All athletics practices and events have been cancelled, and all athletics facilities closed, based upon guidance from the Arkansas Activities Association. All other interscholastic activities have also been cancelled, according to AAA.
All standardized testing schedules have been cancelled by the Arkansas Department of Education.
Current changes in the events calendar for the following campuses have been announced:
HOPE ACADEMY OF PUBLIC SERVICE –
-- New student/family orientation will be postponed as determined by state mandates beyond April 20.
-- Cancellations include Parent Night Out Baby Sitter Service, April 14; public service events April 25; and, Train Day event, May 2.
