HOPE – Back to School Open House activities at Hope Academy of Public Service will be limited to a “drive through” format Aug. 12 from 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Parents are asked to drive through the bus lane by the HAPS cafeteria where they will be met and student packets will be distributed. The “drive through” service will be available throughout the day.
Student packets are to be returned on the first day of school Aug. 16.
Bobcat Clinic and CABUN Rural Health will also conduct a free COVID-19 vaccination clinic in the HAPS Nurse’s Station from 5:30-6:30 p.m. on Aug 12.
Anyone ages 12 years and older is eligible for the Pfizer vaccine. Parking for the vaccination clinic will be limited to the visitor parking lot and the EAST Lab parking area. Access to the campus for vaccinations will be limited to the gates on either side of the building that open onto the covered walkway in front of the Nurse’s Station.
Students wishing to participate in athletics should contact the Bobcat Clinic to schedule an athletics physical examination. Call 870-722-2733, option 2. A meeting for parents will be announced to provide information regarding heat illness, concussions and other athletics-related health matters.
