The Hope High School cross country track program competed at the conference meet Monday, with five HHS runners garnering all-conference honors, while the girls’ varsity team took second place overall. Named to the all-conference team among the top 25 percent of runners were Nick Sanchez, Briana Puente, Lizzy Arroyo, Drake Martin, and Dillon White. Puente and Arroyo also placed in the top 10 in the girls’ race. The Hope runners will compete at the state meet in Hot Springs on Nov. 9. – Hope Public Schools
