Hope Collegiate Academy tenth grade students display their completed “Day of the Dead” cultural projects representing the Mexican celebration of loved ones who are deceased. The annual celebration is observed Oct. 31 – Nov. 2 in Hispanic cultures. Coloration schemes for the tiny ceramic skulls, which are representative of a particular deceased family member or loved one, reflect themes such as purity (white) and celebration (pink). – Hope Public Schools
