Students from all five campuses of the Hope Public Schools toured the traveling American Bicentennial-themed exhibition “The Spirit of Independence” housed in the Arkansas Arts Center Artmobile during a week-long showing in Hope. The Artmobile was stationed at Hope High School with the exhibition from the permanent collection of the AAC in Little Rock provided through a partnership between the Hope Public Schools and the Arts in Education program of the Southwest Arkansas Arts Council. AAC Education Specialist Annika Warrick guided each tour with discussions about the art works and the students’ impressions of their significance. – Ken McLemore/Hope Public Schools
