Hope Public Schools families are invited to take advantage of the September 2026 Mental Health Series offered through ParentGuidance.org.
Throughout the month, families can participate in virtual, live sessions focused on topics that can help parents and caregivers navigate challenges affecting children and families. Most sessions are offered at 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. CT, allowing families to select the time that works best for them.
September topics include:
Suicide prevention
Building your child's confidence
Bullying prevention
Supporting your child's mental health
Supporting children after trauma
The opioid crisis
Recognizing child abuse
Video game addiction
Parenting through anxiety and depression
Depression
Motivating your child
School avoidance
Navigating divorce with children
Replacing negative emotions
Special sessions during the month include the Watch Together Series at 7:00 p.m. on September 9 and Ask a Therapist Live at 7:00 p.m. on September 29.
Spanish-Language Sessions Available
ParentGuidance.org is also offering Spanish-language mental health sessions during September. Topics include supporting your child's mental health, suicide prevention, building your child's confidence, and information about substance use and vaping.
Families can participate in as many sessions as they would like and can also access on-demand videos, quick facts, practical tips, and articles through ParentGuidance.org.
