Hope High School’s Ladycats and Bobcats tennis teams closed the regular season with undefeated performances in girls singles and boys doubles, earning top seeds for the district tournament.

Monica Bobo, Hope’s No. 1 girls singles player, finished the regular season undefeated across 10 events. A state overall quarterfinalist last season, Bobo will enter the district tournament as the No. 1 seed in girls singles and look to build on her postseason success.

Davis Johnson and Riley Bramlett also completed an undefeated regular season. The boys doubles partners, who qualified for the state tournament last season, will enter district play as the No. 1 seed in boys doubles. Their consistency and continued improvement have been strengths throughout the season.

In girls doubles, Mycah Bradley and Jamie Young are expected to finish among the conference’s top two teams, with final standings still pending. The pair split their meetings with Arkadelphia and responded to setbacks with a strong finish to the regular season.

Drake Mathis, Hope’s No. 1 boys singles player, also made a significant contribution. Across 11 conference matches, his only losses came against a top-ranked Arkadelphia opponent. Mathis will look to carry his competitive spirit into postseason play and pursue a berth in the state tournament.

The Ladycats and Bobcats are preparing for their upcoming district tournament at Ouachita Baptist University.
