January is School Board Appreciation Month! We have an amazing board made up of folks who work tirelessly to ensure our students are receiving the best education they can, that our teachers and staff are rewarded and supported, and that the district remains an integral part of our community. Please help us celebrate and honor our board members throughout the month!
LINDA HAYNES:
What I like about being on the school board is getting to be a part of making something a better. We have some really good staff, I want to be able to help make them better. Maybe it’s better technology, curriculum, or raises. We have great students. I want to be able help offer them a better future through job training, life skills or college classes at no cost to them. I’m excited about the progress and the projects we have already and the ones that are in the works. I’m excited to see what a district and a community can look like when all of us are ALL IN.
