HOPE – Science Fair winners from grades three and four at Clinton Primary School have been named by CPS Gifted and Talented Program teacher Alvis Conway.
General show winners in first through third places for both third and fourth grade all came from the Physical Science category.
Third grade winners included: Elliott Vasequez, first place, Is There Science in Diapers?; Autumn Flenory, second place, Lava Lamps; and, Jose Andres Alvarez, third place, Water Filtration System.
Fourth grade winners were Drake Mathis, first place, The Bouncy Egg; Austin Courtney, second place, Swirly Milk; and, Reyanna Mendoza, third place, Magic Milk.
Projects were entered in three categories, including physical science, earth and space, and life science groups.
Conway said a total of 39 projects were entered in the competition this year.
