Are you the parent of a Hope High Bobcats athlete? We are looking for 1 or 2 parents to share your story TONIGHT at the Homecoming Game! We will have a video crew in town recording some of the game, the fans, the players, and more. We would love to have 1 or 2 parents come down to the the field between Homecoming ceremonies and kickoff (approximately 6:50pm) to talk with the crew and have your thoughts recorded on video! The Hope Cross Country teams competed at the Leopard Run in De Queen on Tuesday. This was the Jr. High Conference Championships. Both teams competed well and finished 3rd in conference. The boys were led by Elliot Vazquez and Christopher Bello. Alan Basilio, Jeffry Lagos, and Christopher Baizabal also had a great run.
The girls were led by Jeizlyn Barrios, who had her best run of the year. The team consisted of Marely Almarez, Emily Castrejon, Lucero Arroyo, and Angelique Martinez.
The Sr. High teams had another great showing. The Sr. Boys were led by Aniell Felipe (4th place finish) and Brian Jimenez (8th place finish). Oswaldo Alvarado, Fabian Aguilar, and Jose Juanes had a great run to help the boys finish in 2nd place overall.
The Girls were led by Brianna Maclaughlin (2nd place finish) and Ari Juanes (13th place finish). Esmeralda Leon, Sophia Johnson, and Wendy Hernandez finished out the top 5 for Hope girls. The girls finished in 3rd place for the meet.



Hope Public Schools will present the annual Report to the Public at 5 pm on October 15, 2024, before the monthly board meeting. This will take place in the Hope High School Auditorium. The public is invited to attend.

Great things happening with the 21st Century Learning Community program! Students participated in Paper cutting-Geometry. Deanna Gilbert HPS Food Service Director presented calorie counting. Students built vocabulary playing Scrabble. Ms. Bailey worked with students on reading comprehension.

Students from Hope School District participated in the Southwest Sr. High Chess Tournament. The event was held on September 23, 2024. Members on the team are Melody Martinez, Payton Norman, Madison Qualls and Christopher Ruiz. Christopher Ruiz ranked 9th overall in the Sr. High Tournament.
