Teachers Support Teachers will recognize the Hope Public School Athletic Department during their 5th Annual Fundraising Gala on March 2, 2024. The event will take place at 6:30pm at the Arkansas Convention Center in Texarkana. Congratulations to our Athletic Department!

Hope High Agri Teacher Christina Smith shares: The junior and senior members of FFA, FCCLA, and FBLA attended a lovely dinner hosted by the Hempstead County 4-H extension and the Hempstead County Farm Bureau Women's committee. The students had previously attended etiquette training provided by the 4-H extension. It was a wonderful way for students to experience formal dining, practice networking with peers and showcase their brand new etiquette skills.

On Thursday, the HHS Magnet Team hosted the RRCU Reality Fair where our students learned how to budget their money preparing them for their future. Thank you to RRCU for providing this wonderful opportunity to our students! Thanks to Anna Gillingham for providing the photos and information.







Accidental twinning is always fun!!


Due to the inclement weather last week, ALL magnet after school clubs have been rescheduled to begin next week on January 29th. Students will use their normal transportation routines all this week. Again magnet after school clubs will not begin until next week on January 29th. Should there be any questions please contact your child's school.



The Board Meeting tonight (January 22) will start at 5:00pm in the Hope Schools Administration Building. The public is invited to attend. We had previously stated the starting time of 5:30pm. We apologize for the error.

From AD Coach Turner: The Bobcats and Lady Cats will be traveling to Magnolia on January 24th to make up the missed varsity basketball game. It will be varsity boys and girls only. Come support the teams if you can!

The Resume' workshop scheduled for Saturday, January 20, has been POSTPONED until a later date. We will post the new date once it is finalized. We apologize for the inconvenience and look forward to seeing you at the rescheduled event!

Due to continued icy conditions on county roads, Hope Public Schools will be closed on Friday, January 19. We are taking these measures in an abundance of caution. School will resume as normal on Monday, January 22. Stay safe!



Varsity games for Friday, January 19 at Magnolia have been canceled. Coaches are working on make-up dates.

Due to icy roads conditions in portions of our district, Hope School District will be closed on Thursday, January 18, 2024. This decision was made in an abundance of caution. We will update you tomorrow regarding the plans for the remainder of the week.
All sporting events scheduled for Thursday have been canceled as well.



Due to inclement weather, Hope Public Schools will be CLOSED on Wednesday, January 17. We will evaluate the situation and update everyone tomorrow for Thursday.



The varsity basketball game scheduled for Tuesday has been canceled due to school closures.
