This week, Hope Public Schools proudly joins districts across the nation in celebrating National School Bus Safety Week ā a time to recognize the importance of school bus safety and to honor the dedication of our transportation professionals.
This yearās theme, āSafe Stops. Stronger Communities.,ā reminds us that safety starts with everyone ā our drivers, students, parents, and community members.
šø Remember:
šDrivers must stop when a school busās red lights are flashing and the stop arm is extended.
šØAlways stay alert and slow down in school zones.
Every school day, our bus drivers safely transport hundreds of students to and from school. We thank them for their commitment, professionalism, and care. Please take a moment this week to remind students about safe behavior at the bus stop and on the bus ā and to thank our transportation team for keeping our students safe each day.
Letās work together to make every trip a safe one! ā¤ļøš¾

Arkansas law requires all students attending Arkansas schools to be vaccinated against certain diseases unless an official exemption form is filed.
Exemptions must be renewed each school year and should be applied for during the summer, prior to the new school year. The Arkansas Department of Health can assist with exemptions. Call 870-777-2191 or visit healthy.arkansas.gov.
As of today, students may not attend school until this deficiency is corrected or an exemption form is provided. Please bring or send the appropriate documentation to your school nurse.
