Hope Ag students spent this past week assembling Welding tables for the Ag building. The funds used to purchase these tables came from the Magnet Grant. Hope Agri would also like to thank Mr Hill and Mr. Cooper for helping lift the larger tables that weigh almost 500 lbs each. The students learned how to read plans and assemble through diagrams. Magnet also purchased 9 Esab 180i welding machines that are going to allow student to learn and practice Stick Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) and Tungsten Inert Gas welding (TIG).

Hope High School has been awarded the College Board's AP Computer Science Female Diversity Award AGAIN! For TWO YEARS in a row, Hope High continues to showcase female students enrolling in AP Computer Science classes! This is an awesome achievement and demonstrates Hope High School's leadership in bringing non-traditional career fields to our female students. We’re honored that our school earned this distinction and look forward to seeing these young women and others pursue and achieve success in computer science education and careers. Congratulations, Hope High School!
