HOPE – A national holiday will move the regular monthly session of the Hope Public School Board to Jan. 17 this month.
Monday is Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Day, and classes will not be in session in the Hope Public Schools, nor will administrative offices be open. The regular school board meeting which falls on the third Monday each month will be moved to Tuesday next week.
The board will conduct two sessions Jan. 17, including a called special meeting at 4:30 p.m. to conduct the annual evaluation for Superintendent Bobby Hart. This session will be a closed personnel meeting. No action by the board is anticipated at the meeting.
The regular monthly board session will begin at 5:30 p.m., and will be open to the public.
Both meetings will be conducted in the second floor conference room at the district administration building, 117 E. Second St.
