The Hope High School Bobcats took second place in a recent basketball tournament in Texas! In their first round of the championship bracket at the 13th Annual Paris Holiday Basketball Tournament (December 28-30), the Bobcats beat Greenville by one point to move to the next round in a 57-56 victory. In the next round, the Bobcats defeated Paris 62-45 to move on to the finals. In the final round, Ponder was able to take an early lead and the Bobcats trailed at the end of each quarter, not able to catch up. The Bobcats played a great set of games (5-1 overall), however, and took 2nd Place! Congratulations to the Hope Bobcats!
