HopeBot teams kicked off competition at the Arkansas Robotic State Championship on Sunday, March 10, and showed off their skills and robots that they built and coded from scratch!
Team Ghostface consisting of Sophia Finigan, Aracely Garcia, Samuel Fellows, and Johnny Paredes won the Create Award out of 42 teams in their division! They also ranked 10th in Robot Skills and made the final rounds of the Teamwork Challenge.
Team Pinkalicious consisting of Justice Booker, LyKya Cole, Yaneli Hernandez, and Jazlyn Mejia won the Judges Award out of 43 teams in their division!
Team The Lil Rascals ended the season ranked 11th, Lil Sunflowers are ranked 16th, The Amigos are ranked 21st, and The Toasters 2.0 are ranked 22nd out of over 140 teams in their divisions. ALL of the HopeBot teams represented Hope with pride and were complemented throughout the competition and trip on their responsibility and respect towards others.
