📵 Bell to Bell, No Cell! 📵
New Arkansas Law Prohibits Cell Phone Use During the School Day
Hope Public Schools is committed to fostering focused, safe, and supportive learning environments. Beginning this school year, the Bell to Bell, No Cell Act (SB142) is now in effect statewide.
This means students are not allowed to use personal cell phones or smart devices during the school day—from the first bell to the last—unless specific legal exceptions apply.
🔒 Phones must be powered off and put away during class time.
This state law is designed to reduce distractions, promote mental well-being, and support academic success for all students.

We encourage all families to review the policy and talk with their students about what this means for their daily routine. Thank you for partnering with us to make our classrooms distraction-free and student-centered.
Let’s have a great year, Bobcats!
