Thanksgiving holiday schedule set

HOPE – The Hope Public Schools will observe the Thanksgiving holiday break in the middle of instructional format changes at two campuses related to the COVID-19 crisis.

The official holiday period for the district is Nov. 25-27, with all HPS campuses returning to regular on-site and virtual format instruction Nov. 30. The district will observe “Virtual Friday” on Nov. 20 and all students, faculty and staff who will not be on campus, but scheduled virtual days on Nov. 23-24 are designed as remediation days on campus.

Clinton Primary School and Beryl Henry Elementary School students, faculty and staff have been in a “pivot” to complete virtual classroom instruction until Nov. 30 when they will return to a regular on-site and virtual format.

Administrative offices of the HPS will be closed Nov. 25-27.
