Aug. 16 was the first day of school for students in the Hope Public Schools and it was the first day with student contact and learning happening for new HPS Superintendent Dr. Jonathan Crossley. Dr. Crossley greeted students on the car line at Clinton Primary early, spoke to students at Yerger Middle School, sat in on classes at Hope Academy of Public Service and Beryl Henry Elementary School, and got the word on cafeteria service at lunch at Hope High School. – Ken McLemore/Hope Public Schools
