Parents, Teachers, Family, and Friends: Help tackle test anxiety! Here are 5 ways to help reduce stress of test anxiety:

  • Ask questions: What's their biggest worry? How do they feel when they start the test?
  • Test-taking techniques: Read directions, look for questions they know the answers
  • Talk to teacher: Get help to relieve anxiety (cover future questions with blank paper, etc)
  • Encourage positive thinking: "I know how to do this!
  • Teach relaxation and visualization
