It's a busy first day of school for Superintendent Dr. Jonathan Crossley, BHE Principal Kedrick Jones, YMS Dean of Students, Jonathan Turner and Counselor Latonya Bradley. They are giving a quick interview to KSLA TV about the new cellphone policies the district is piloting this year! Thanks to Jeff Madlock for grabbing this "behind the scenes" pic!

Arkansas State Law 27-51-1004: When the school bus lights are FLASHING, it means NO PASSING! Do NOT pass a school bus that has its flashers in use. Do NOT pass a school bus when children are loading or unloading. Let's be aware and be safe out there!

Welcome back, families! You are the heart of our school, and we deeply appreciate your support. We're excited to work together and make this school year the best one yet! See you on Monday, students!

Hope Public Schools' Transportation Department will be in full swing beginning August 12, 2024. We would like our Community to please be aware of our students as they wait at the bus stops to load and unload their buses.
"IF YOU SEE FLASHING, NO PASSING!"
Arkansas law prohibits drivers from passing a stopped school bus that is picking up or dropping off passengers. This law is known as Isaac's Law, named after an elementary school student who was killed when a driver illegally passed his bus. Drivers who violate the law can face a fine of up to $2,500, up to 90 days in jail, and a driver's license suspension of up to one year.
Motorists should always follow the law and drive carefully - especially when driving in school zones and around school buses!
Never pass a school bus on the right-hand side, where children are loading and unloading.

The staff at HAPS is taking part in Professional Development this week and are excited to be back and ready to teach this school year! #GoBobcats #ALLIN #HopeForTheFuture

Welcome back, HAPS Families!

Do you know HAPS? The Hope Academy of Public Service features programs such as Photography, Science Fair, Garden Taste Testings, eSports, and more! Every Student Matters. Every Moment Counts!

Hope School District is excited to announce the use of Here Comes the Bus
(HCTB). HCTB is a mobile app and website that delivers real-time school bus arrival
and departure notifications to parents via mobile push and email notifications.
Notifications are sent when the bus is nearby, practically eliminating the wait times at the
bus stop.
Students are assigned to the bus by the physical address that is on file with the attending campus. One thing to note is that the program will only track ONE ADDRESS. Many have
more than one address that your student is picked up from or delivered to. If you want to make a permanent change to the address on file, please do this during the open house, August 8th.
Instructions to sign up for HCTB are provided on the flyers. There will be a number of updates to make once school starts. Please give the Transportation Department a few weeks to assign students to their correct buses.
