Magnet proudly sponsored an exciting and educational trip to the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra at the historic Robinson Auditorium in Little Rock. Under the leadership and coordination of music educators Tristan McMahan and Christopher Mannis, the entire first grade had the opportunity to attend the special performance titled “Fairytales and Fantasies.” ✨
This unforgettable experience immersed students in the world of orchestral music, where classic stories and imaginative themes were brought to life through powerful musical storytelling. The performance introduced young learners to a variety of instruments 🎻🥁🎺 and musical styles, helping them connect what they heard to characters and scenes they know from beloved fairy tales.
Throughout the trip, students were engaged, curious, and enthusiastic—many experiencing a live symphony for the very first time. Teachers and staff noted how the captivating performance sparked conversations about music, creativity, and the importance of the arts in education. 🎶

The Veterans Day Program at Clinton Primary was a wonderful success! The event was led by Alvis Conway, with the invocation delivered by Mr. Green. Kayla Bowden’s third-grade students created and presented patriotic keychains to honor the Veterans in attendance.
🎶 The Magnet Program supported the ceremony with beautiful music directed by Tristan McMahan and Christopher Mannis. Their talented third-grade music students performed The Star-Spangled Banner, You’re a Grand Old Flag, and Thank You Soldiers.
🇺🇸 It was a heartfelt celebration honoring the courage, service, and sacrifice of our Veterans.

Our chick-hatching project is in full swing! Today, our eggs were checked for development using a process called candling — a bright light helps us peek inside the shell to see how our chicks are growing.
✨ During the first week, we can see tiny blood vessels forming.
🐥 By the second week, we might even see movement as the chicks grow.
⏳ By the last few days, the eggs will look almost completely dark because our chicks are almost ready to hatch!
We can’t wait to welcome our fluffy new friends soon! Stay tuned for updates from our 3rd grade “hatch room”! 💛🐔 #STEMLearning #3rdGradeScience #FutureFarmers #ChickHatching
