Third Grade classes at Clinton Primary are hoping to soon have baby chicks hatching in their classrooms! Deanna Gilbert and Doreen Antley of the Farm Bureaus Women's Committee stopped by to demonstrate "egg candling" to the students. The brand new incubators in the classrooms have a built in light to help detect whether or not eggs might have chicks in them.
In the photos, the egg that is completely "red" shows that there is no chick inside. The photos showing a dark area indicates the possibility of a chick inside.
The eggs should start hatching next week, so hopefully the students will have chicks in the classrooms!

NOTICE REGARDING 5K RACE: After much thought and consideration, due to anticipation of bad weather tomorrow, and concern for your safety the 5K is postponed. The autism support group would like to let each of you know that they appreciate your donation and your willingness to come join our 5K.
