Students in Mrs. Gulley's first-grade class began their first unit lesson about plant and animal life cycles and how they change and grow. The first animal on the list was the mountain gorilla. There were many things we learned about them, including where they lived and what they ate. As a follow-up to the lesson, the students were shown a video to enhance their understanding of the lesson concepts. It was a wonderful day of learning! #GoCats🐾❤️ Thanks to Jaylen Johnson for sharing the news and photo! #GoBobcats #ALLIN #HopeForTheFuture

Mrs. Miller’s 2nd grade class read We Don’t Eat Our Classmates by Ryan T. Higgins and created a poster telling how to be a good friend. The students enjoyed this activity while practicing reading comprehension, writing, and spelling! Thanks to Shannon Hawthorne for the pics! 👹 ✏️ 📖 #GoBobcats #ALLIN #HopeForTheFuture

Arkansas State Law 27-51-1004: When the school bus lights are FLASHING, it means NO PASSING! Do NOT pass a school bus that has its flashers in use. Do NOT pass a school bus when children are loading or unloading. Let's be aware and be safe out there!

Open House is a packed house at CPS!

Please take precautions to protect yourself from respiratory viruses. If you do get sick, be sure to follow the guidelines for your wellness and for others. For information related to school healthcare and/or the Bobcat Clinic, contact Gretchen Carlton at (870) 722-2733.

Hope Public Schools' Transportation Department will be in full swing beginning August 12, 2024. We would like our Community to please be aware of our students as they wait at the bus stops to load and unload their buses.
"IF YOU SEE FLASHING, NO PASSING!"
Arkansas law prohibits drivers from passing a stopped school bus that is picking up or dropping off passengers. This law is known as Isaac's Law, named after an elementary school student who was killed when a driver illegally passed his bus. Drivers who violate the law can face a fine of up to $2,500, up to 90 days in jail, and a driver's license suspension of up to one year.
Motorists should always follow the law and drive carefully - especially when driving in school zones and around school buses!
Never pass a school bus on the right-hand side, where children are loading and unloading.

The New Testament House of Prayer in Guernsey, AR, made a donation of 2 crates of school supplies for our students! CPS is very grateful for their generous donation! Thanks to Gina Karber for the info and pics! #GoBobcats #ALLIN #HopeForTheFuture

Do you know CPS!? Check out all the amazing things Clinton Primary offers to students, parents, staff, and the community! Educate Everyone Everyday!

Hope School District is excited to announce the use of Here Comes the Bus
(HCTB). HCTB is a mobile app and website that delivers real-time school bus arrival
and departure notifications to parents via mobile push and email notifications.
Notifications are sent when the bus is nearby, practically eliminating the wait times at the
bus stop.
Students are assigned to the bus by the physical address that is on file with the attending campus. One thing to note is that the program will only track ONE ADDRESS. Many have
more than one address that your student is picked up from or delivered to. If you want to make a permanent change to the address on file, please do this during the open house, August 8th.
Instructions to sign up for HCTB are provided on the flyers. There will be a number of updates to make once school starts. Please give the Transportation Department a few weeks to assign students to their correct buses.

Let's all welcome Niakerra Magee to the Bobcats family!
