Casey Hardaway from Arkansas Game and Fish Commission presented to Ms. Cole and Mrs. Burke's Science classes on Tuesday, January 21st. She brought numerous furs and skulls of animals that live in our area and in Arkansas. She discussed internal and external features of all of the animals. The students were excited to learn so much, it was a great experience.





MLK DAY


Congratulations to Sekeviah Reliford! She won the 3rd grade Student Choice Award at the SWAEC Reading Fair.

Congratulations to Parker Apthrop! He won the 1st Grade Student Choice Award at the SWAEC Reading Fair.

Third grade students are ready for their AR party! Students that met their AR goal were rewarded with hot chocolate and a movie.

The students in Mrs. Duncan and Ms. Rector's class finished reading "How to Steal a Dog." They were able to take a test on the book and then keep the book.


Christmas Events


Bobcat Clinic will not have a medical provider Dec. 16 until 11:30 a.m. Immunizations still available 7:30-11 a.m. No change to behavioral health services that date.

Early Out


Congratulations to Ms. Cole's 4th grade class for bringing the most can foods during our Can Food Drive. They brought a total of 218 cans. CPS students and teachers brought a total of 1021 cans for Hope in Action.


The students in Mrs. Duncan and Ms. Rector's class finished reading "Mysteries According to Humphrey." They were able to take a test on the book and then keep the book.
