Early Out

Ms. Karber, our Parent Center Para, applied for the James Patterson Scholastic Books Reading Grant over the summer. She just recently found out that she received the grant and was able to spend $250 on books for the Parent Center.

The CALL in Hempstead and Nevada Counties welcomes you to hear the inspiring story of Alton Carter. Mr. Carter is a former foster child who went on to become a police officer and youth minister. He has also authored two books about his life experiences, The Boy Who Carried Bricks and Aging Out. Admission is FREE!
