PARENTS OF SENIORS: Please remind your seniors to complete the next steps for the Hempstead Guarantee at UAHT. Next Steps: ** Complete the State of Arkansas Scholarship application at https://sams.adhe.edu/ by May 1. ** Complete the FAFSA application at https://studentaid.gov/h/apply-for-aid/fafsa and submit all financial aid documents by May 31. ** Enroll in at least 12 credit hours for the fall semester by June 30. The Hempstead Guarantee is a scholarship that guarantees the first year at UAHT at no cost for graduates from high schools in Hempstead County. All certificates and degrees at UAHT qualify for this scholarship. Hope Public Schools will be CLOSED on Monday, April 8, 2024. Hope Public Schools will be OPEN on Friday, April 12, 2024. Students and teachers are expected to attend normal classes on Friday, April 12. Previously, Friday was scheduled as a closed campus day, but due to the closure of school on Monday, April 8, the calendar was reworked and school will be open on Friday, April 12. Two HopeBot teams have qualified for the VEX IQ Robotics World Championship in Dallas! Teams Ghostface and The Lil Rascals will represent Hope at the start of May as they compete with the best teams from over 50 countries! Parents, be on the lookout for athletic physical paperwork getting sent home next Monday and Tuesday. If you would like your student to receive a free physical through the Bobcat Clinic, all paperwork must be completed and returned to the student's campus nurse by Thursday, April 4th. Any questions should be directed to your child's campus nurse by calling that school.
