Two HopeBot teams have qualified for the VEX IQ Robotics World Championship in Dallas! Teams Ghostface and The Lil Rascals will represent Hope at the start of May as they compete with the best teams from over 50 countries! Parents, be on the lookout for athletic physical paperwork getting sent home next Monday and Tuesday. If you would like your student to receive a free physical through the Bobcat Clinic, all paperwork must be completed and returned to the student's campus nurse by Thursday, April 4th. Any questions should be directed to your child's campus nurse by calling that school.

The deadline to apply for the collegiate academy is Monday, June 3, 2024. Students who will be entering the 10th grade can apply to the academy. Students must be enrolled or be eligible to become enrolled as a Hope Public School District student and meet the collegiate academy entrance requirements to attend. The academy is a public school that is free of charge and is located on the University of Arkansas-Hope campus. The Hope Collegiate Academy is a partnership between the Hope Public School District and the University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana. The goal of the academy is to provide students with a three-year curriculum that allows them the opportunity to complete a high school diploma and an associate degree simultaneously. Since its inception, the collegiate academy has had a 100% graduation rate and saves students an average of $18,980 compared to the first two years at an Arkansas public 4-year university. ALL HPS Magnet Clubs will end on Tuesday March 26,2024. We have thoroughly enjoyed being able to explore student interest through after school clubs, and we look forward to more options for the 24-25 SY. All students will need to resume back to normal transportation on Monday and Tuesdays, unless your student participated in after school boost tutoring. If you have any questions please reach out to your campus magnet coordinator.
