The deadline to apply for the collegiate academy is Monday, June 3, 2024. Students who will be entering the 10th grade can apply to the academy. Students must be enrolled or be eligible to become enrolled as a Hope Public School District student and meet the collegiate academy entrance requirements to attend. The academy is a public school that is free of charge and is located on the University of Arkansas-Hope campus. The Hope Collegiate Academy is a partnership between the Hope Public School District and the University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana. The goal of the academy is to provide students with a three-year curriculum that allows them the opportunity to complete a high school diploma and an associate degree simultaneously. Since its inception, the collegiate academy has had a 100% graduation rate and saves students an average of $18,980 compared to the first two years at an Arkansas public 4-year university. ALL HPS Magnet Clubs will end on Tuesday March 26,2024. We have thoroughly enjoyed being able to explore student interest through after school clubs, and we look forward to more options for the 24-25 SY. All students will need to resume back to normal transportation on Monday and Tuesdays, unless your student participated in after school boost tutoring. If you have any questions please reach out to your campus magnet coordinator.

SOFTBALL NEWS AND UPDATES: 1) Softball team plays Nashville today at Nashville at 3:30pm. 2) The D-Mac tournament is this Thursday - Saturday in Hope Game: Game times will be flexible due to weather. 3) The softball team will have a one day trip to Commerce Texas on Monday to watch the University of Arkansas Lady Razorbacks play Texas A&M Commerce at 2:00 PM! The team will be leaving at 9:00 AM Monday.

March 6 - 9, HHS Hope BotCats led by robotics teacher and BotCats coach Mrs. Kathy Knight, participated in the FIRST Arkansas Regionals Robotics Competition in Searcy Arkansas where we earned a 14th place ranking. Those attending the competition were, Cynthia Vargas, Akane Nakma, Ramsey Beck, Karah Bowden, Anthony Rodriguez, Luisa Raeli, Trinnity Martin, Lenny Lardinois, Jan Havlicek, Alexis Juarez and Drake Mathis, Alumni & Drivers Coach Ben Knight, Lead mentor Val Knight. Team members Corina Rosenfeld and Riley Bramlett could not attend due to illness.
