Yerger Middle School employee demonstrates her love for the students during the Valentine's dance. Mrs. Nicole Godwin was asked to assist in decorations for the dance. Given this opportunity to share her crafting skill, she made beautiful paper flowers worthy of display. Being "ALL IN", Mrs. Godwin then took a few minutes to teach a group of volunteers and student council members to make additional flowers for the dance.

Yerger High School Alumni are full of love and pride for their Alma mater and their community. As opportunities arise to support Hope Public Schools, especially Yerger School, the alumni get involved.
Recently, a group of graduates learned the YMS EAST group was collaborating with the Henry C. Yerger Museum for a community project. As the project plans developed, they eagerly offered support.
Ms. Margaret Moss visited YMS and presented a donation for EAST to YMS Principal Radebaugh on behalf of the group of alumni. This donation enabled the EAST students to purchase supplies and learn a few new skills. These students were definitely "ALL IN" as they used their newly acquired skills and made their own Henry C. Yerger Museum Ambassador shirts.
Special thanks to our donors: Mrs. Alice Straughter, Ms. Cleonia Highland, Ms. Norma Henry, Ms. Jennifer Alexander, Mrs. Terri Turner, Ms. Janice Milus, Ms. Margaret Moss, and the family of the late Dorothy Washington-Smith.

On Saturday, February 11th, Yerger Middle School hosted their first dance of the year. The semi-formal Valentine's dance was full of photos, friends, food, and fun. Students had the opportunity to dress up and dance the night away. This event was spearheaded by the YMS Parent Center and assisted by Student Council.

YMS EAST Initiative students took part in a recent program at the Henry C. Yerger museum. Serving as ambassadors, these students fulfill a community project as well as continue the legacy of serving the community set forth by H.C. Yerger.
Pictured with the ambassadors are several community members, Yerger High School alumni, and members of the H.C. Yerger Museum Board.
Special thanks to Alan Flenory Photography for providing pictures from the event.
